The production environment is based on the following 3-level architecture.
·An ISIMAN application server
·An ISIMAN Content Editor (Java)
·A database server via JBDC (ORACLE, SQL Server, PostGreSQL, or Access)
NB If remote Client-Server access is required an FTP / HTTP server is also used and, in some cases, remote file servers
A file server is used to store contents files of all formats, (MS Office and others).
These logical servers (with the exception of remote file servers) can be held on the same machine or on different machines. The ISIMAN application server can be held on a dedicated machine or share an existing application server with other applications.
